About
Dr Eldon Mah is an Australian trained specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon working in both the public and private sectors in Melbourne. He is the founder and principal surgeon at Parkside Plastic Surgery and the Scar Clinic, and also holds an appointment as a consultant surgeon at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne.

Under the mentorship of the leaders in plastic and reconstructive surgery within the major hospitals in Victoria, Eldon developed and refined his skills in all aspects of plastic surgery, with a focus on high level patient care. After receiving a fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic Reconstructive Surgery in 2010, he completed a yearlong fellowship position at Toronto General hospital in Canada in reconstructive microsurgery, focusing on complex reconstructive procedures for breast, sarcomas, head and neck surgery.
On his return to Melbourne, Eldon has now accrued over a decade of experience in reconstructive surgery. He continues to have an active role in teaching local trainees and overseas young surgeons, as well as ongoing clinical research and involvement with University of Melborune. His vast experience also leads to regular invitations to speak at national and international meetings.
Eldon prides himself on working extensively with patients to restore not only their aesthetics post-surgery, but also their function and confidence after cancer treatment, radiotherapy or trauma. Integrity, authenticity and open communication remain essential keys to his care and treatment of patients.
